Halasana Yoga School

Halasana Yoga School has been open since 2009 and is situated in Stare Babice. We offer regular on-site hatha yoga classes (therapeutic and rehabilitative yoga) for adults, children, and pregnant women. We offer regular group and individual classes. We organize workshops connected with yoga itself, healthy lifestyle, relaxation and mindfulness.

In our yoga school there are 15 gymnastic ladders and other yoga facilities such as mats, straps, wooden blocks, bolsters, blankets, chairs as well as facilities to work with children.

At the request of educational institutions and clubs we can offer movement related classes and activities for both adults and children.

We respect the abilities of your body. Our goal is your fitness and satisfaction.

After some classes with Małgosia I understood it wasn’t true and that it was Halasana Yoga School where I wanted to continue my yoga practice, which helps a person develop physically and mentally and gives me really a lot.

It is said Bruce Lee used to say that one can lose strength if one doesn’t do anything to keep it. Yoga, in order to keep fit throughout next seasons on a horseback, stretches out, strengthens the muscles, makes you more body conscious, teaches how to breathe smoothly and calmly.

I have been practicing yoga for 3 years now in Halasana Yoga School, and – to my surprise- regularly! I am under a watchful eye of an instructor (Malgosia has an individual approach to every single trainee and chooses appropriate asanas depending on the needs). I already know ‘a bit’ and my new skills make me really happy (my favourite asana –  standing on head yoga pose) not to mention a few minutes of relaxation – hardly ever do we have time for it in everyday rush. I do recommend it!

I have noticed that I have more energy, my body is more flexible and firmer with visible muscles and much fitter than three years ago before I took up yoga. I find yoga gripping and if you practice regularly you can feel the improvement of your overall body fitness straight away. Yoga from our point of view

Working for ten years with different clients we have worked out our own authorial approach to yoga. The starting point was the method developed by B.K.S. Iyengar in which you focus on the precision when doing asanas. We have enriched it by adding elements of academic yoga, which is wider and which focuses on adjusting the poses to the abilities and limitations of a person practicing. In our classes we also refer to remedial exercise technique, movement developing method, strenght training as well as mindfulness and yoga nidra. Regular yoga practice changes the body visibly. Stiffness and limitations gradually go away whereas the flexibility of joints, freedom of movement and confdent moves appear, or simply self-confidence.

Choose activities!

We offer classes at different levels – suitable for beginners and more advanced. Classes are held in small groups. We come into contact with each participant and to modify this exercise to fit the current state of health and abilities of the participants.
